A Trail close to home

This is the 3rd of Dec. 2010. I needed to test the new mounting method for the top box I am using on my T-dub. Getting a late start in the day made me have to chose a trail that would be close to home. Having only ridden touring bikes in the last ten years, I am only familiar with the paved roads. With that said, in each of these rides, I am seeing the trail/road for my very first time. I got out my Delorme atlas of AZ and could see several marked trails nearby. I rode for 3 Hrs this afternoon and was never more than 10 miles from my house as the crow flys.
