Arizona is rugged but beautiful country. Those golden fluffy looking cactus are locally know as jumping cholla. It is folklore that the needles from these cactus will sense heat and shoot themselves at any live thing that walks nearby. I was a little worried seeing them growing so close to the road. I really don't want to test the legend.
